You know what the cards mean, but when it's time to do a reading, you don't know where to start?
The High Priestess is related to intuition and the subconscious. The Eight of Pentacles speaks of mastery and repetition. The Chariot means overcoming obstacles and moving forward. But now, what?
Think in Tarot is a workbook that will help you familiarize with the tarot card meanings and make them malleable enough to fit into any context. Because knowing the meanings of the 78 cards is where everything starts, but adapting those meanings to deliver a reading is the skill that makes all the difference.
And this workbook will walk you through the process!
Think in Tarot is a printable resource that you can use and reuse to your hands content. Work with it in pages, print it as you go, get it bound or work with it on your tablet or electronic device. There are hours of practice contained in this workbook!
What will you practice?
- Find your own core meanings. With dedicated pages to each card, that will help you navigate the process from gathering information, to understanding and internalizing the cards in several steps.
- Work with individual cards in different contexts. Answer questions (sometimes intentionally ridiculous questions) with confidence, translating your understanding of the card to real-life situaitons. Challenge yourself to find interpretations for all!
- Develop creative associations. The cards are not just their canonical meanings! You will find multiple exercises and games with which to have fun and force yourself to think out of the box.
- Think from the card's perspective. How would the Seven of Pentacles behave on a date? What ruffles the feathers of The Empress? Get into the card to see the world from its perspective.
- Connect the cards. Practice blending the cards together to tell a story, make concrete day-to-day interpretations and increase your precision.
- Understanding the cards instead of memorizing the cards. Follow through the exercises to build a solid understanding of the cards so that they become natural to you.
